Uruguayan President arrives in Beijing for state visit

President Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay arrived in Beijing on Monday, marking the start of his five-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
President Lacalle Pou, leading a delegation of ministers and business representatives, is expected to take part in a series of events related to trade.
