As the temperatures drop at the Dinglin Temple in Rizhao, Shandong Province, the leaves of a 4,000-year-old ginkgo tree started to turn yellow, as if clad in a golden armor. The fan-shaped leaves look like strings of golden wind chimes hanging from its branches.
