Twenty-eight premature babies from Gaza have been evacuated from a hospital inside the besieged Palestinian enclave and taken to Egypt to receive treatment. When they arrived, they showed signs of "hypothermia, hypoglycemia and severe malnutrition," said Dr. Mohammad Salama, head of the neonatal unit at the Al Helal Emirati Hospital in Rafah. The World Health Organization said all the babies are fighting serious infections and need health care.
