About 700 years ago, Marco Polo set sail from the Adriatic Sea. At the age of 17, he ventured across the Silk Road and set foot in China. He opened a new chapter in human history by connecting distant lands and civilizations. Marking the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, students from Beijing Foreign Studies University came to Croatia's Marco Polo Center and looked back at Marco Polo's journey along the Silk Road with curator Vicka Marelica.
