A magnitude-6.6 earthquake struck off Indonesia's eastern province of North Maluku on Wednesday, leaving one person dead, a local disaster official said.
The worker died while working to demolish a mobile tower operated by Telkomsel, when the quake caused the tower to collapse, reported Xinhua, citing an official.
The earthquake occurred at 0248 GMT at a depth of 109 kilometers, Indonesia's meteorology and geophysics agency said.
