Wootsang Dance Crew, Xizang's first street dance crew, has developed a range of well-received folk street dances over the past 20 years. In 2022, they won the Outstanding Street Dance award at the China Hip Hop Festival. Tenzin Jigme, the founder of Wootsang Dance Crew, says this was the most important award won by any street dance crew in Xizang.
