Leaders of BRICS countries gathered on November 21 for an extraordinary virtual summit on the Palestinian-Israeli issue. At the summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping said it is very timely and important that BRICS countries meet and speak up for justice and for peace on the Palestinian-Israeli issue. Xi also called for an immediate ceasefire as the first step to realizing lasting peace and security.
