Editor's Note: Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Joe Biden have met in San Francisco on November 15. Political stars seemed to have aligned as both countries have agreed to put differences aside and work on climate change and artificial intelligence among other issues. They have also agreed to resume military communications. On this special program, The Hub's Wang Guan looks into the future of the most important major-country relationship going forward. He asks whether a new mindset might arise and chart a new, friendlier course between Beijing and Washington, and beyond. Drawing on past interviews with prominent U.S. politicians and personalities, Wang Guan strikes an optimistic note and says that China and the U.S can co-exist and prosper peacefully, saying that "co-evolution," a concept coined by former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, might well become a reality.
