U.S.-Canada border closes after vehicle explosion at Niagara Falls

A vehicle exploded on the Rainbow Bridge linking Canada with the United States at Niagara Falls on November 22, prompting authorities to close that border crossing. The vehicle driver and a passenger were killed in the explosion and a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer was injured, Reuters reported. New York Governor Kathy Hochul said the incident does not appear to be related to terrorism.
