On June 27, 2022, the first female Yangtze finless porpoise born as a result of captive breeding uttered its first cry at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in central China's Wuhan. Join us as we come face to face with the fruit of 26 years of dedicated research - the first of a whole new generation of porpoises!
