Fans of the beloved cartoon character Hello Kitty are offered the chance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this animated icon together at a special light-and-shadow exhibition being held at the Shanghai Powerlong Museum. Sanrio, the Japanese company that created Hello Kitty, hosted an opening ceremony earlier this month to share their love of the character with their global fan base. Since her debut in 1974, Hello Kitty has become a worldwide star that has continued to share joy and friendship with people around the world through her sweet image. The exhibition presents stories of Hello Kitty that offer a glimpse into the whimsical world of this beloved cartoon character through a series of light-and-shadow installations. The show will run until January 28, 2024.
