November 25 marks the anniversary of the International Olympic Committee's founding president, Pierre de Coubertin, delivering the Olympic Manifesto in Paris in 1892, four years before the staging of the first modern Games. An event was held in Beijing on Saturday to commemorate that moment and make a call to designate the date as Olympic Culture Day.
