During the 7th Silk Road International Exposition (SRIE) in Xi'an, located in China's Shaanxi Province, CGTN's Zhou Yiqiu interviewed Sultangaziev Marat Eleusizovich, head of the local government (referred to locally as Akim) of Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. He emphasized the establishment of a permanent comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Kazakhstan. At the local level, the implementation of this consensus is progressing systematically. Additionally, he mentioned that this year, China and Kazakhstan reached a visa-free agreement, facilitating people-to-people exchanges. Both nations have achieved significant results in infrastructure construction, with collaborative plans in green energy contributing to the advancement of high-level cooperation under the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
