Russia's capital Moscow was hit by heavy snow on November 27, affecting traffic and daily activities, according to BNN Breaking.

Traffic congestion reached a high point early this morning due to heavy snow not usually seen until the evening rush hour. As more people head home from work at night, the traffic situation is likely to worsen.

Meteorologists said it was the heaviest snowfall seen during the same time of year in the past 40 years, and predicted it would continue, indicating a further test of the city's resilience to such weather conditions.

Residents and visitors in Moscow are being urged to stay alert of the weather updates and plan their activities accordingly.
