Orbiting solar power station to send electricity back to Earth

Named "Zhuri," which means "chasing the sun," the space solar power station (SSPS) project was launched six years ago, led by scientist Duan Baoyan, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and also a professor at Xidian University, one of China's leading centers for electronics and information technology research.
