CGTN

Anticipation is building for the inaugural China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), with the theme of "Connecting the World for a Shared Future," set to kick off in Beijing from November 28 until December 2.

The event is not only the first of its kind on a national level but also marks China's unwavering commitment to ensuring the stability and efficiency of global industrial and supply chains.

The expo will feature participation of 515 domestic and international companies and institutions, unveiling a myriad of new technologies, products, and services across the entire supply chain, according to its press conference.

The expo's mission is clear: showcase cutting-edge technologies and products along the supply chain, shedding light on future developmental trends. It will also highlight services from financial, logistics, and platform enterprises, fostering collaboration and mutual development among industries at every stage of the supply chain.

In addition to the showcase, CISCE is set to host an array of specialized forums and activities. The event will also unveil a comprehensive global supply chain report by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Zhang Shaogang, vice chairman of CCPIT, said: "Our exhibition concept prioritizes making a substantial impact within the 'chain'. We are shifting the focus from individual products to entire supply chains and ecosystems."

"In terms of exhibition effectiveness, our emphasis is on long-term cooperation and mutual development, pioneering a new exhibition model," he added.
