Revitalization plan keeps Macao's shipbuilding tradition alive

Some of Macao's oldest districts are getting facelifts under a government revitalization plan aimed at developing iconic local cultural attractions. In all, there are six districts undergoing revamps. The first phase of one of the projects is already complete and is now open to the public, giving visitors a glimpse of an industry that was once part of the backbone of Macao's economy.
