China unveiled the first high-resolution images of the China Space Station at a press conference in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Tuesday, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

The images were captured by the Shenzhou-16 crew when their spacecraft flew around the space station before the crew returned to Earth.

They are first images of the complete configuration of the space station on the backdrop of Earth that China obtained.

China's Shenzhou-16 astronauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao returned to Earth safely on October 31 after a 154-day mission in the country's space station. Currently, the Shenzhou-17 crew is stationed at the space station.
