The second Forum on the Rule of Law in Global Digital Trade was held on November 24, 2023, as part of the second Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) in Hangzhou, China. Speaking exclusively with CGTN on the sidelines of the forum, Anna Veneziano, deputy secretary-general of International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), acknowledged China's increasing influence and importance of participation in the organization as a member state as well as its contribution to developing a transparent legal framework through the activity of the government itself, specific experts, academic experts, and other entities.
