At the invitation of the governments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), a delegation of China's manned space program will pay a six-day visit to the two regions from November 28 to December 3, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
The delegation consists of 17 members, including the CMSA's deputy director Lin Xiqiang, Shenzhou-12 astronaut Liu Boming, Shenzhou-13 astronaut Wang Yaping, commander of the Shenzhou-14 mission Chen Dong, Shenzhou-15 astronaut Zhang Lu, and experts in manned space program.
During their trip, the delegation will visit primary and middle schools and colleges in the two regions to communicate with students and teachers.
The delegation will also attend a media briefing organized by the HKSAR government and answer questions about the development of China's manned space program, attend the opening ceremony of an exhibition themed on the manned space program, communicate with the circle of science and education of the two regions, and attend a lecture on manned spaceflight in Macao.
