How is driving a hydrogen vehicle different?

Since 2017, over 1,000 hydrogen-powered vehicles have been put into operation in the Nanhai District of Foshan in south China's Guangdong Province, including shared electric bicycles, buses, trucks, boats and trams. Lu Rongxing, a hydrogen fuel truck driver, says driving a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is comfortable and creates almost no emissions, with the only byproduct being water. Yan Jiejiang, deputy managing director of Foshan Horizon New Energy Technologies, says that such vehicles also lower battery maintenance costs.
