Hukou Waterfall is a popular tourist destination all year round, attracting visitors even as the temperatures drop. Located on the Yellow River in China, it is situated at the border between the provinces of Shanxi and Shaanxi.
The upper reaches of the waterfall widen to a span of 300 meters. Within a distance of less than 500 meters, this width is compressed to a narrow range of 20 to 30 meters. The river cascades and pours over a steep cliff of over 20 meters in height, creating a majestic spectacle known as "a thousand miles of the Yellow River converging into one narrow bottle."
