Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend their truce for an additional two days, allowing for further exchanges of hostages and prisoners and for more humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, said a Qatari official.

The extension came on the scheduled last day of the previously negotiated hostages-for-prisoners swaps, mediated by Qatar and other parties.
