China-made passenger ship set to enter service in English channel

A China-made large-capacity battery hybrid propulsion passenger ship was delivered in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, on November 29. Measuring 230.5 meters long and 30.8 meters wide, the ship, named P&O LIBERTÉ, can carry as many as 1,500 passengers and more than 700 vehicles. Built by the Guangzhou Shipyard International Company, it will enter service on the Calais route in the English Channel. The ship also has 10,000 square meters of area for passenger activities and is well-equipped and furnished to ensure a comfortable journey for travelers.
