The focus of "Xizang Rhapsody" is the region's young people. Through their stories, the series highlights the collision and exchange between tradition and modernity. As Tenzin Jigme, founder of Wootsang Dance Crew, Xizang's first street dance group, explains: "We convey ethnic Tibetan elements in a novel way through street dance." Thirty-two-year-old Tsomo, the region's first international coffee grader, says that one of her greatest wishes is to be able to drink coffee produced in Xizang. Also, there's Tebar who, for the past decade, has played a leading role in promoting the popularity of skateboarding in Lhasa.
