Trucks with life-saving humanitarian aid have continued to arrive at the Gaza Strip from Egypt through the Rafah border crossing. A convoy of 50 trucks lined up at the Rafah border crossing, waiting to enter the Gaza Strip. These trucks, escorted by staff from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, were heading directly to northern Gaza.
Since last Friday, more humanitarian aid has been allowed into the Palestinian enclave. It comes after 48 days of Israel's siege and airstrikes. With many roads in northern Gaza destroyed or damaged, aid delivery there has been impeded.
