- Hamas and Israel have agreed to extend their humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The truce, which was set to expire on Thursday morning, will be extended for an additional day.
- Egyptian and Qatari negotiators are pushing for a new two-day extension to the truce in Gaza, along with more prisoner releases and an increase in the delivery of humanitarian aid, a statement from Egypt's state media body said on Thursday.
- U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israeli leaders and the Palestinian president in Israel and Ramallah, respectively, on Thursday over the Gaza truce and the provision of humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave.
