Bringing Chinese literature to the tropics

With a population of 1.4 billion and a literary tradition that dates back several millennia, China has a vast literary treasure trove to offer the world. And while Europe and the United States have long enjoyed translations of these Chinese-language gems, Brazil has only recently had access to them in Portuguese. Now, more and more Portuguese translations of Chinese books are appearing, giving Brazilians access to the riches and subtleties of Chinese literature.
