At least 193 Palestinians have been killed and 650 wounded in Gaza since a Hamas-Israel truce ended on Friday morning, a spokesman for the Gaza health ministry said on Saturday.
So far, the total death toll in the Gaza Strip from Israeli retaliatory strikes since October 7 has reached 15,207 and 40,652 people were injured, spokesperson Ashraf Al-Qudra said, adding that 389 wounded have left the Strip via the Rafah Crossing.
The spokesperson also accused Israel of deliberately targeting 130 health institutions and putting 20 hospitals out of service in the Strip.
"We lose large numbers of wounded every day due to the lack of treatment for them in Gaza hospitals," he said. "More than 800,000 people in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip are without food or medicine."
Fighting resumed on Friday after a temporary truce in Gaza ended and Israel reissued calls for Gazans to move south.
