At COP28, CGTN's Wang Guan spoke with Ben Harburg, member of the board of directors of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR). Having been a colleague of Dr. Kissinger on the NCUSCR, Harburg's bond with the former U.S. Secretary of State goes way beyond, as Harburg's father was the pilot who flew Kissinger to China via Pakistan for the historic ice-breaking trip in 1970s. It was remarkable to come full circle as a family, Harburg said. "It's somehow fitting that I can continue to play a small role in helping to keep the train on the tracks."
