On November 29, the largest port passenger and roll-on/roll-off terminal hub in China, the Haikou New Seaport Comprehensive Transportation Hub project, commenced its trial operation.

The project adopts an integrated architectural approach, covering the main building, waiting corridors and ground transportation center under a contiguous roof. It implements a separation of people and vehicles, initiates an intelligent customs supervision mode and strives to provide passengers with efficient and convenient services for their travels.
