Four oriental white storks rest and forage at Huajiahu Lake in Anhui Province. Considered as a national treasure in China, the oriental white stork is classified as endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species. Currently, there are less than 10,000 left worldwide.
