On December 1, the Mohe River and Tahe River in Daxing'anling area, Heilongjiang Province, were illuminated by an aurora, and local residents and visitors were greeted with a beautiful view.
According to China Meteorological Administration, the appearance of the aurora was caused by a geomagnetic storm.

The forecast indicated that this solar eruption was likely to produce a high-intensity and brilliant aurora on December 1. People from northern China, such as Heilongjiang, would have the opportunity to see red or even green aurora.
