At COP28, CGTN anchor Wang Guan spoke with Haris Doukas, mayor-elect of the Greek capital Athens. Doukas said COP28 was a critical juncture for strong decisions and concrete actions, as the window of opportunity is closing. He plans to launch some ambitious initiatives in Athens to curb temperature rises, reduce air pollution and traffic jams, "to create (a) more vibrant and sustainable environment for people and not for cars."
