Children from Laos who suffer from congenital heart disease are receiving treatment in Kunming, the provincial capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, free of charge. The program, jointly launched by the China Charity Federation, the Yunnan provincial government and the Yunnan Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital, aims to strengthen people-to-people bonds between the two neighbors under the Belt and Road Initiative.
