The Tianshan Shengli Tunnel, currently under construction, is set to become the world's longest highway tunnel. This ambitious project aims to connect the southern and northern regions of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It draws inspiration from the ancient Qanat System, which achieved national-level intangible cultural heritage status in 2014.
