Two scientists have been honored as the first recipients of the inaugural Tengchong Science Award during the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum, held from December 1 to 3 at the border city in southwest China. One recipient is Dennis Lo, a distinguished molecular biologist renowned for his pioneering work in non-invasive prenatal testing. His contributions were also recognized with the Lasker Award last year. CGTN reporter Yang Jinghao caught up with the scientist to discuss his latest research.
