Green finance refers to any structured financial activity to ensure a better environmental outcome. One common green finance instrument is the green bond. China is one of the top issuers of green bonds. Professor Yin Haitao, vice dean from Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, says that China is also the first country in the world that installs a systematic framework to finance green development.
