Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday sent a congratulatory letter to the 2023 Imperial Springs International Forum (ISIF) held in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province.
In the face of unprecedented global changes, human society must unite and adhere to principles such as mutual learning, openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation, promoting common values for all humanity, stated Xi.
Xi expressed hope that the guests would advocate for true multilateralism and contribute to the promotion of a global community with a shared future.
Highlighting that the ISIF has conducted in-depth discussions on topics impacting world peace, stability, sustainable economic development, and cultural exchanges, thus playing a positive role in enhancing international cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, Xi noted its significant contributions.
Themed "Multilateralism: More Exchanges, Greater Inclusiveness, and Cooperation," the 2023 ISIF opened on Monday in Guangzhou.
The forum is jointly organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Australia China Friendship and Exchange Association, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and the World Leadership Alliance - Club de Madrid.
