Palestine Telecommunications Company PLC (Paltel) said on Monday that all telecom services in Gaza City and north Gaza Strip have been lost due to the disconnection of main elements of our network in light of the "ongoing aggression."

The Israeli army said Monday it was taking "aggressive" action against "Hamas and other terrorist organisations" in Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, where it has been widely expected to begin ground operations.
