Editor's Note: Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero has made his first visit to China since taking office, during which he attended the 6th China International Import Expo. In this edition of Leaders Talk, CMG's Zou Yun sat down with President Marrero to hear his views on China-Cuba relationship. Marrero met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and both sides called for further strategic coordination between the two countries. Marrero sees great potential for future cooperation in areas such as agriculture and biotech. As the head of a country that has long been sanctioned by the United States, he believes that China's openness to the world provides many opportunities for countries in the Global South. He also shared some memorable experiences from his China trip and extended a warm welcome to Chinese visitors to Cuba.
