High up on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in Qonggyai County, the Xizang Autonomous Region, 78-year-old Nyima is hoping to bring together a group of dancers to perform the traditional Dro dances. But the call from Nyima leaves Badro, his former student who's working far away from their home village, in a quandary. He can't afford to take time off work, but on the other hand, he believes he has a responsibility to keep Dro dances, part of the local intangible cultural heritage, alive. Many of his peers are facing a similar dilemma. Through dialogue and dramatic imagery, this 4K, 60-minute documentary offers a fascinating insight into the real life of Tibetan people living on the remote plateau.
