CGTN

In an interview with CGTN, He Jijiang, executive deputy director of the Research Center for Energy Transition and Social Development at Tsinghua University, shared several approaches to the zero-carbon rural energy transition: zero-carbon electricity, zero-carbon heating, zero-carbon cooking and zero-carbon applications in all walks of life.

He said that there is great potential for zero-carbon development in China's rural areas, which are abundant in renewable energy sources like biomass, solar, wind and geothermal energy.
