The release of a third batch of nuclear-contaminated wastewater from Japan's damaged Fukushima nuclear plant into the Pacific Ocean ended as planned on November 20, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), its operator, said. As in the first and second rounds, Japan diluted some 7,800 tonnes of the radioactive wastewater with a large amount of seawater before releasing it.
