The crested ibises, known as the "Oriental Gem," have existed for over 60 million years, longer than the history of humanity. Unfortunately, they almost went extinct around 40 years ago. But hope was not lost! In 1981, seven wild crested ibises were found in Yangxian Country in central China's Shaanxi Province.
