Israel's Security Cabinet on Wednesday evening approved the recommendation of the country's war cabinet to allow a "minimal" supplement of fuel, which is "necessary to prevent a humanitarian collapse and the outbreak of epidemics," into the southern Gaza Strip, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a social media post.

The amount will be determined from time to time according to the morbidity situation and humanitarian situation in Gaza, the office added.
