China has made technological innovation the driving force for the green and low-carbon transition of its economy, ranking highest in the world in terms of the installed capacity of hydropower, wind power and solar power. Winston K.H. Chow, an environment expert and senior director at the Asia Foundation, says China's leadership in green energy and carbon reduction makes it an exemplary nation to the rest of the world in terms of combating climate change.
