Trial operation for group tours of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), one of the world's longest cross-sea bridges, will open to tourists from the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions from next Friday, December 15. 

Besides Chinese mainland residents holding valid ID cards, Hong Kong and Macao residents holding valid home return permits may sign up for the tour groups. The group tour routes between Zhuhai port and a western artificial island, known as Blue Dolphin Island, and takes about 140 minutes. Tourists can enjoy the three channel bridges along the route and have a chance to spot the Chinese white dolphin, known as the giant panda of the sea. 

With a span of 55 kilometers, the HZMB links China's special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao with Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong Province. The bridge is as testament of remarkable engineering achievement, serving not only as a convenient transportation link but also as a breathtaking landmark. 

The HZMB offers many attractive aspects to tourists. It seamlessly connects three distinct regions, allowing visitors to explore the diverse cultures, cuisines and attractions of Hong Kong, Macao and Zhuhai in a single day.
