December 10 is Human Rights Day, aiming to raise global awareness for human rights protection. According to the United Nations, 71 percent of the world's population lives in countries where inequality has grown. This growing inequality will not only hamper economic growth, but will also cause violence and conflict. In contrast to the richest who enjoy privileges, those living off low incomes are struggling to survive.
