At least 17 people were injured after two trains crashed in northeast Italy late Sunday, Milan-based daily Corriere della Sera reported.

At about 8:20 p.m. local time (1920 GMT), two trains collided on the Bologna-Rimini railway line in Italy's city of Faenza, blocking the railway traffic in the area, said the report.
